Laois Traveller Action Group (LTAG) celebrates the launch of their first ever Traveller Cookbook. Women within the Laois Travelling community worked tirelessly over the last six months to produce and publish this book. First distributed at Dunamaise Theatre, Portlaoise on Tuesday December 17th, the book is full of traditional everyday recipes, stories of times gone by, and photos of the women as they cooked the meals.
If anyone would like a copy of the book, limited copies are available at the Laois Traveller Action Group office at Bridge Street, Portlaoise.
